Scientific and creative activities
K.S. Nupov is the author of a number of scientific and technical publications on the development of gas supply in the Republic of Kazakhstan, and also, as a specialist and head of the Institute, participated in the development of sectoral policy documents, for example, the Program for the Development of the gas industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2004-2010, the Master Plan for the Development of the Petrochemical Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan until 2020, the General Scheme of Gasification of the Republic of Kazakhstan until 2030, approved by By resolutions of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
By order of the akimats and a number of government agencies, Regional program documents were drawn up for the development of the West Kazakhstan region and the city of Uralsk until 2015, for gasification of the Kyzylorda and Almaty regions, regulatory documents and methodological guidelines for the design of facilities and the functioning of gas entities.
In the early 2000s, under his leadership, technical solutions were developed for the construction of an export gas pipeline to China and a feasibility study for the construction of the Karachaganak gas processing plant.
