Hydrogen production plant at Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant
As part of the project, work was carried out to adapt the project documentation developed by the Swiss company Koch-Glitsch to the requirements of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The main objectives of the project:
- correct adaptation of foreign project documentation in accordance with national regulations and standards;
- coordination of design decisions with government and supervisory authorities;
- ensuring the reliability and compliance of the installation with industrial safety requirements.
Project partner: Koch-Glitsch (Switzerland).
The aim of the project is to provide the plant with the necessary hydrogen for hydrotreating processes, which made it possible to produce fuel that meets international environmental standards Euro-3 and Euro-4, as well as to increase the depth of oil refining to 80-85%.
The project is of strategic importance for improving the quality of petroleum products and strengthening Kazakhstan's position in the fuel and energy complex market.
